![]() ![]() As you know, the house was built in 1847, and the room you stayed in was the home’s original kitchen. Please accept my apology if this option was not offered. It’s our goal to encourage guests to use city parking passes, which do alleviate the need to feed the meters. Street parking can be unsettling if you’re not used to it and I apologize that it worried you. Parking in Savannah can be challenging, and homes in our residential area simply do not have private or secured parking lots. I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are fortunate to be near Forsyth Park, and many of Savannah’s beautiful squares.
