I was honest and basically wrote everything I wrote here, that I didn't buy coins etc. I opened a case at EA and explained my situation. I simply got lucky (or rather unlucky) that those illegal traders may have confused offerings and bought my players instead of others. I didn't have the intention to actually buy coins and thus knowingly violate the ToS. My reasoning is that I simply offered those players at immense prices, while thinking that this most probably won't work. Although I understand the reasoning, after reading the relevant passaged in their ToS, I figured that I didn't even directly violated anything, IMO. Just a few hours later, I got a mail from EA that my account was banned from the transfer market. I didn't spend any real money for this, so by definition, I did not buy coins. So in that night, I basically gained 100k coins out of nowhere. As a joke, I put 10 random players on my list and found that they actually got bought the next day. I looked up the prices for individual players that needed to be offered to make those traders buy the players. It got pretty late in that night and I thought, simply out of curiosity, that I might be able to fool those traders. I figured that might not be an intended way of earning coins, and it indeed violates the ToS to simply buy coins from third-party sites. I am not the best player and trader, so I did some research and came across methods to actually exchange real money for coins. I am pretty new to Fifa and started with Fifa 21 in August 2021, then pre-ordered the Fifa 22 Ultimate Edition and started on October 27th. The stated reason is violating the ToS, moreso coin distribution. I was banned from the Fifa 22 transfer market in Ultimate Team, after just 3 days of playing. ![]()
